Welcome to the fabulous start of your South African adventure! After a warm welcome at George Airport, we head straight to Plettenberg Bay – the jewel of the Garden Route. Get to know your fellow fabulous travellers over a delicious lunch (on your own account), before we go a little wild at Monkeyland and Birds of Eden – where you'll meet cheeky primates and flamboyant feathered friends in lush indigenous forest. After a short glitter-nap, we sparkle things up with a fabulous welcome dinner, where the wine flows and the laughter rolls. You’ll sleep in style at the Plett Quarter – because even queens need rest.

Today is all about water, wine and whoops of joy. We start with sea kayaking in Plettenberg Bay, paddling through crystal-clear waters and waving at the seals (yes, darling, you are that close). Then it’s time to clink glasses at Barringtons for a boutique beer tasting and a delicious lunch. But hold onto your lashes – next we zip off to Knysna for an adrenaline-pumping zipline ride high above the Knysna forest canopy! After a thrilling day, we make our way to George for a night of comfort, class and maybe even a bubble bath.

Get your glam gloves ready – this morning we visit Redberry Farm where you can pick strawberries and enjoy a playful Strawberry Lips tasting (because you’re never too fabulous for fruity fun). Then we venture inland to the legendary Cango Caves – a jaw-dropping underground wonderland that’s as dramatic as your favourite drag queen’s finale gown. After lunch in Oudtshoorn (on your own account), we visit Highgate Ostrich Farm for a sassy farm-to-fork dinner experience and perhaps a little feather envy. Tonight, we rest our fabulous selves at the Turnberry Hotel.

It’s Route 62, baby – South Africa’s answer to Route 66, but with better wine and cuter photo ops. We start in Calitzdorp with tastings at charming local wine farms, followed by lunch and a craft beer moment in Barrydale. Then it’s on to Montagu, where time slows down and vintage vibes reign supreme. Dust off your pearls for a Dutch Bike Tour around this quaint town before checking in to the iconic Montagu Country Hotel – an Art Deco dream in the middle of wine country.

Franschhoek is calling – and she’s got all the right notes. After a scenic drive with wine stops along the way, we arrive in the culinary capital of South Africa. Bikes 'n Wines awaits in the afternoon: think cycle chic meets wine tasting realness. Whether you ride like a pro or wobble like a diva in heels, this is a day of outdoor fun and wine-soaked joy. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local hotspot (on your own account), then unwind at the elegant Protea Hotel – with a view to sip for.

All aboard the Wine Tram – the most glamorous way to explore Franschhoek’s world-class wine estates. We hop on and off, tasting our way through rolling vineyards and Instagrammable landscapes. With free time to explore the art galleries, chocolate shops, and boutiques, there’s something for every flavour of fabulous. Tonight, we indulge in a final dinner in Franschhoek at the acclaimed Protégé restaurant, and raise a toast to friendship, freedom and fermented grapes.

Today, the Mother City opens her arms and gives us all the sparkle we deserve. After a scenic drive to Cape Town, we kick things off with a thrilling helicopter flip for those who want to see the city from above (yes, she’s a supermodel from every angle). Then it’s all about local flavour with a foodie experience at "Eat Like a Local," followed by a classic cable-car trip up Table Mountain. Our final night is a glamorous affair – dinner at the iconic Kloof Street House and a party to end all parties. We overnight in style at the beautiful Winchester Hotel, with the Atlantic Ocean as our lullaby.

All good things must come to a fabulously glittering end — but not before one last loving look at the beauty of the Cape. After breakfast, we take a scenic drive back to George where hugs are shared, contacts exchanged, and promises of reunions made. Whether you’re heading home with a heart full of memories or extending your stay in Cape Town for more queer magic, today is about reflection, gratitude, and maybe a little misty eye behind the sunglasses. The Glitter Trail may end here — but the sparkle stays with you forever.
